In addition to a few freelance projects, I've worked for many companies that manufactured products for retail and produced a wide variety of product marketing packaging, labels, and graphics. While mostly company branding projects, also worked on numerous private label lines and assisted existing customers sell, or place, the products.

We worked with a marketing company that specialized in new product development. I provided the photography, instructional illustrations and other graphic elements. Attended the press check and printing of the pieces in Louisville, Kentucky where the graphics were printed directly on to the corrugate.

Concept-to-completion internal production clamshell package for a dog collar, including, design, layout, and instructional illustrations. Working with a stock photo, I digitally added the leash and halter on to the dog.

Corrugate Product Packaging

Had to get to a Sears Hardware store prior to opening to get the initial photographs. About the only thing that didn't change from that original photograph was the mower. With obvious liability issues, but a desire to meet the spring seasonal shipping deadline, for seven weeks, we followed a weekly pattern of submitting a fully constructed empty corrogute package with custom large format overlays. Overnighted to the Craftsman marketing and legal teams, they analyzed it and returned the desired changes. I would apply the edits, print and apply another overlay and overnighted to Sears.
